    CLOSING A BET: Like in spread betting, meaning to put a wager equal to but opposite of the leading bet.

    COLUMN BET: To wager on any of the 3 columns of a roulette table.

    COME BET: In craps, similar to a pass-line bet, but carried out after the shooter has ascertained his point.

    COME-OUT ROLL: A crapshooters first toss to ascertain a point, or the 1st toss after a point has been ascertained.

    COVERALL: A bingo term, meaning to blanket all the spots on a bingo sheet.

    CRAPPING OUT: In craps, to toss a two, 3 or 12 is an immediate defeat on the come-out roll.

    DAILY DOUBLE: To choose the champions of the 1st two races of the tournament.

    DOWN BET: To bet that the result of an action will be lower than the lowest end of the quote on a spread bet, also known as a "sell".

    DOZEN BET: In roulette, to gamble on one or more of 3 sets of 12 numbers, 1-12, etc.

    EACH WAY BET: A athletics gamble, meaning to bet on a group or player to win or position in a match.

    EVEN MONEY BET: A bet that pays the same value as gambled, ( one to one ).

    EXACTA: Betting that 2 horses in a contest will complete the race in the exact identical order as the bet – also referred to as a " Perfecta ".

    FIVE-NUMBER LINE BET: In roulette, a bet made on a block of five numbers, like 1-2-3-0, and 00.
