There are several other dominant Iowa gambling halls, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river boat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday vingt-et-un matches.
Iowa casinos present a great amount of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has enabled the bankrolling of a lot of state wide projects. Tourism has increased at a rapid percentage accompanied with the request for processors and a gain in jobs. Iowa casinos have been helpful to the expansion of the market, and the affection for wagering in Iowa is absolute.
