If you enjoy a cocktail every now and then, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you intend to spend on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You can have a success following a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola at home is a bit excessive, but precautionary actions for dramatic actions is essential. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t take plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away everything!
Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the web to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my apartment, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
